Slide - Kentucky Action Park

At the only Alpine
Slide in Kentucky, you will begin by taking the scenic chairlift
ride to the top of the mountain. Get in your sled and you begin
the ¼ mile trip down the mountain filled with turns and
bends that are sure to give you a thrill! A unique control lever
allows each rider to control the speed down the mountain. For
your safety, only six years and up rides the Alpine Slide and
there is no double riding.

Beech Bend Amusement
Park offers more than 40 rides including the
new Kentucky Rumbler wooden coaster, plus Splash Lagoon Water
Park, Granny Jones’ Petting Farm, Gold Rush mini-golf, games
and go-carts. A new country music stage show will open in 2007
and will be included in all admission packages.
Also new for 2007 is the “Hip Hop” family drop ride and free
sunscreen in the park. The rides line up includes family rides,
children’s rides and thrill rides for all ages. Opens April
21st through September 30th.
Splash Lagoon Water Park features
the Raging Rapids waterslides, Lotta Watta Island children’s
play structure and splash pool and a giant leisure pool. The
water park is open May 19th through September 30th
(weather permitting). Inner tubes and sunscreen are free in
Splash Lagoon.
Beech Bend Raceway features
a nationally recognized quarter-mile drag strip as well as an
oval track for stock car racing. NHRA drag racing is featured
on Sunday afternoons and fun and grudge racing is featured on
Tuesday and Saturday nights. The drag racing March-November
including numerous, national special events. Stock car racing
- Friday nights April-September.

geographic area known as the "Barrens". Also known
as the Museum of the Barrens - is 30,000 square feet packed

a gristmill from the mid - 1800's.
